The Hintertux Glacier proves to be a true winter paradise, enticing with 86 perfectly groomed powder snow slopes. Here you can whiz down the slopes carefree from October to May thanks to a reliable 100% snow guarantee. For lovers of long distances, the 12 km long valley run offers an incomparable pleasure. But not only skiers get their money’s worth: An excellent snow park with superpipe, kicker, rails and boxes promises snowboarders and freeskiers spectacular action.

Among the jewels of the glacier is the panoramic terrace at a dizzying 3,250 meters above sea level, from which you can enjoy a majestic view over the venerable three-thousand-meter peaks. Another highlight is the Nature Ice Palace, an impressive glacier crevasse that has now been opened to visitors and provides insights into the fascinating world of ice.

The Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000 offers 199 km of prepared slopes in the four snow-sure ski areas Hintertux Glacier, Eggalm, Rastkogel, Finkenberg/Penken – a dream for every winter sports fan.

The individual ski areas are connected by state-of-the-art lift & cable car systems, such as the 150er Tux (Penken/Finkenberg – Sonnenplateau Rastkogel) or the new and unique “6y Lattenalmbahn”, a 6-seater chairlift with weather protection hoods and seat heating (Rastkogel – Eggalm).

Glacier circuit
Overcome 15,000 meters of altitude and 60 km of downhill slopes of all levels of difficulty on the glacier circuit through all 4 ski areas.

A perfectly groomed network of trails awaits you. 16 km of groomed trails for classic cross-country skiing and skating pleasure (14 km of which are on the Luggi-Gredler trail from Tux-Vorderlanersbach to Madseit).
In Hintertux there is also a 1.5 km long trail – ideal for technique training or for a short cross-country skiing round.
