Fruity apple punch for home

Apple punch is a delicious alternative to traditional egg punch or mulled wine and is a wonderful addition to the festive season. It is also ideal for a cozy get-together for St. Nicholas Day or on Advent weekends. The Christmas apple-cinnamon treat is rounded off with homemade Christmas cookies.

Apple Punch Recipe

So that you can conjure up a little Zillertal Advent atmosphere in your home, we will reveal our favorite apple punch recipe from the kitchen of our Berg Hotel Hintertux Tux in this article.

Ingredients for the apple punch:

To prepare the delicious apple punch, you will need the following ingredients:
1 liter of naturally cloudy apple juice as a base,
2 cinnamon sticks and 4 cloves together with 1 star anise as spice protagonists, as well as a sliced orange for citrus freshness and color.
You can optionally add brown sugar or a shot of rum.

Preparation of the apple punch:

Preparation is simple and sensual:
Heat the apple juice with spices and orange slices over medium heat, without bringing it to a boil. Then let it simmer gently for 10 minutes. To sweeten, you can add brown sugar and, for an extra kick, optionally rum. After straining the spices, serve the punch in preheated cups, garnished with an orange slice.

We at the Kössler Hotel Hintertux Tux wish you lots of fun cooking and enjoying this recipe.

Shortly before the start of the Christmas season, when the leaves are shining and the air is fresh, the aromas of cinnamon, cloves, apple and orange unfold particularly well. On this day, the symphony of flavors of apple punch is celebrated, an invitation to enjoy the warmth and the season together.
