The range of guided hikes that you can take part in during your vacation in our Gletscher Hotel Tux is wide-ranging – there is something for everyone, from young to old!
Our tours vary in length (half day, full day) and cover various topics such as cultural landscape, botany, geology, glaciers, mountain forest, which our trained hiking guides will be happy to explain to you.
Of course, there are also special offers for families with children, such as llama trekking or the Keilkeller waterfalls.

Altitude of the Zillertal Nature Park
The Nature Park, in which our Gletscher Aktiv Hotel Hintertux – Tux is located, extends from approx. 1,000 m above sea level to 3,509 m across all altitude levels of the Central Alps. Depending on factors such as altitude, exposure, geological conditions or the history of the respective location, you will find very different habitats, animal and plant species.
Due to the vertical extension of the high mountain nature park, the number of habitats is very large, and the flora and fauna are very diverse. Glaciers cover a considerable part of the nature park and have always shaped the landscape.
