Our pumpkin cream soup is very easy and quick to prepare and tastes delicious!<br \/>\nIt is important to ensure that the right pumpkin is used. We recommend our favorite pumpkin \u2013 the Hokkaido.<br \/>\nThe recipe is designed for 4 people. <\/p>\n<p>We at K\u00f6ssler, the Ski Hotel Hintertux and Gletscher Hotel Tux, hope you enjoy cooking it.<\/p>\n<h4>Ingredients:<\/h4>\n<p>1 large Hokkaido (or another pumpkin of your choice \u2013 butternut squash is also very suitable)<br \/>\na little butter for frying<br \/>\n5 tbsp raw cane sugar<br \/>\n250 ml vegetable soup<br \/>\n125 ml whipped cream<br \/>\nSalt &amp; pepper to taste<br \/>\nbriefly roasted pumpkin seeds (amount as desired)<br \/>\nIf available: pumpkin seed oil <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Preparation:<\/h4>\n<p>Halve the pumpkin, peel it, remove the seeds with a large spoon and scrape it clean.<br \/>\nThen dice the pumpkin, heat some butter in a large saucepan and add the diced pumpkin pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Fry everything for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly \u2013 this gives a delicious, sweet taste. Now add the raw cane sugar and let it caramelize.<br \/>\nPour the vegetable soup over the fried pumpkin pieces and simmer the soup, covered, until the pieces are soft. <\/p>\n<p>Finally, pur\u00e9e the pumpkin with a hand blender, add the whipped cream and season with salt and pepper.
