The Hintertux Oktoberfest, coupled with the solemn cattle drive, is a cultural highlight that captivates locals and visitors alike. From September 27th to 28th, 2024, the time has come again: music, tradition and culinary delights take center stage.    <\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #745574;\">Schedule of the festival in Hintertux<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h3>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #beca38;\">Oktoberfest &#8211; A festival of colors and sounds<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The opening of the <strong>Oktoberfest<\/strong> takes place in a festive atmosphere on<strong> Friday evening at 7:30 PM<\/strong>. After the official opening ceremony, the festival tent invites everyone to dance the night away. With live music and DJ sounds, the mood stays lively well into the late evening hours.  <\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #beca38;\">Cattle drive \u2013 A tradition with style<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The highlight of the weekend, the <strong>Almabtrieb<\/strong>, begins on <strong>Saturday at 10 AM<\/strong> with a charming farmers\u2019 market. Local producers offer their fresh, high-quality products here \u2013 a paradise for lovers of regional cuisine. The cultural program is enriched at <strong>12 PM<\/strong> by the <strong>folk dance group \u201cDie jungen H\u00f6llnstoana\u201d<\/strong> and the <strong>spectacular flag wavers<\/strong>. This is followed by the festive sounds of the <strong>\u201cKasermandl Duo\u201d in the festival tent<\/strong>.   <\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #beca38;\">Musical entertainment and the decorating of the cows<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>At <strong>1 PM<\/strong>, the <strong>Zillertaler Weisenbl\u00e4ser<\/strong> will captivate the audience. Meanwhile, up at the Bichlalm, the cows are traditionally decorated before they make their festive way down into the valley. You can expect the <strong>arrival<\/strong> of the magnificently adorned cows <strong>at the festival grounds<\/strong> around <strong>2 PM<\/strong>. It is a truly picturesque sight that celebrates the safe return of the animals from the summer pastures.   <\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #beca38;\">Closing with dance and music<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>For those who want to end the day in style, the <strong>festival tent from 7 p.m.<\/strong> offers another stage for <strong>dance and music<\/strong> with performances by the <strong>\u201cSumpfkr\u00f6ten\u201d<\/strong> and other musical guests.
